Bacteria-resistant coatings can be an additional material choice within GMP: the dry paint film is protected against bacterial degradation. This does not replace cleaning, but fits within GMP principles concerning hygiene, cleaning and material suitability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Working in accordance with GMP: the role of resistant coatings<\/h2>\n<p>GMP refers to the general guidelines and standards that guarantee food safety and quality. Using a bacteria-resistant coating adds a protected dry paint film to the chosen paint system.
