Ecological products are water-based and, according to the current safety data sheets, have a very low VOC content of 0.2%. Use “Ecological” as the name of the range, not as a general environmental or safety claim. Always consult the safety data sheet before use.

This depends on the product, substrate, exposure, application and maintenance. We therefore do not make a generic service-life claim. For OakProtect, the product information sheet recommends maintenance every three years; follow the specific product information sheet for each product.

WoodProtect is intended for specified exotic hardwood species, OakProtect for untreated oak, StoneProtect for mineral stone types and ConcreteProtect for concrete. An existing film-forming coating or other pre-treatment can affect suitability.

The product information sheets generally specify at least two coats. The treatment is stirred or shaken thoroughly, applied in cross-coats, then back-rolled or brushed in until the pores are filled. Always follow the product-specific instructions.

The Ecological treatment penetrates the pores and is intended as virtually invisible, vapour-permeable impregnation protection. The product information sheets state that algae and moss therefore adhere less easily to the surface.
