Inducoat lowers your TCO

The the cost of Inducoat coatings should not be assessed solely on the purchase price, but on materials, labour, maintenance and downtime over the entire service life.

With Inducoat the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) decreases because our coatings last longer and therefore require less maintenance and, depending on the product, offer a mould-resistant, bacteria-resistant or algae-resistant dry paint film .

The unique Inducoat Slow Release technology ensures that the dry paint film remains intact for longer, meaning that it needs to be cleaned or repainted less often. This not only reduces material and labour costs but also limits downtime for rooms. In addition, the environmentally friendly formulas contribute to a healthier working environment and reduce the need for aggressive cleaning agents.

In addition, Inducoat coatings have, due to their high solids content , an an exceptionally high practical coverage rate. This means that more surface area can be finished per litre — and that translates directly into lower costs at project level.

We therefore assess the product-specific build-up, expected labour and maintenance frequency for each project.

Coat build-up and coverage

The cost per m² is determined by labour and materials. For Inducoat Fungi the practical coverage rate is approximately 10 m²/L at a recommended dry film thickness of 40 µm, depending on the substrate and application method. Where the substrate and coverage allow, one coat is often sufficient. This can reduce labour time and material use.

Practical coverage

For Inducoat Fungi, the current product data sheet states a recommended wet film thickness of 90 microns, corresponding to 40 microns dry, and a practical coverage rate of approximately 10 m² per litre, depending on the substrate and application method. Application stages and preparation

It is not only the high practical coverage rate that reduces labour; the simplicity of our systems also helps. According to the PDS, Metal Unicoat is applied to rust-free, dry, degreased and dust-free iron and steel and can be used as a one-coat system or primer. Good flow can also contribute to efficient project execution.

Maintenance scenarios
